North Carolina has three Local Groups:

05-275 - MENC - Mensa of Eastern North Carolina
the eastern half of the state

05-280 - C/BR Mensa - Charlotte/Blue Ridge Mensa
the Charlotte area and the northern mountain regions

05-287 - French Broad Mensa
the French Broad River area [near Asheville] and the western mountains
